Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-03-26
This is starter legal copy for a tunneling and team workspace product. Have qualified counsel review and adapt it for your entity, jurisdiction, and actual practices before publication.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Jetty (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
2. The service
The Service provides tools to expose local or private applications to the public internet via secure tunnel URLs, together with team workspaces, organization-level settings, and API tokens for automation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will meet every use case.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including use of personal access tokens and tunnel endpoints tied to your workspace.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, or to distribute malware.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts (including other customers’ tunnels or endpoints).
- Overload, disrupt, or probe our infrastructure in ways that impair the Service for others.
- Resell or redistribute the Service in violation of your plan or our written agreement.
We may investigate abuse reports and cooperate with law enforcement when required. Repeated or serious violations may result in termination without refund, where permitted by law.
5. Your content and traffic
You retain ownership of your applications and data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit content as needed to operate tunnels, billing, support, and security monitoring.
You are responsible for what you expose through tunnels, including compliance with privacy laws, export controls, and third-party terms. Do not route traffic you are not entitled to share.
6. Fees and billing
Paid plans, if offered, are billed through our payment processor (e.g. Stripe). Prices, taxes, and renewal terms are shown at checkout or in your billing settings.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until you cancel. Refunds follow the policy shown at purchase or as required by law.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, documentation, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service during that period or one hundred dollars (USD), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, subject to our prompt notice and reasonable cooperation.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.
12. Governing law
Replace this section with the governing law and venue that apply to your company. Many B2B SaaS products specify a state or country and exclusive or non-exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact us using the support or legal address you publish for your business.
